About
Getting to Know You
My name is Lisa Zimber. I have been teaching music in the North Boone School District for over 25 years. I have enjoyed this district because I like the country and the attitude of the children. They are so fun to teach.
I grew up in Findlay, Ohio. I lived just outside of town in the country. I loved to climb trees and play cops and robbers.
I now live in Rockford, IL with my husband Scott. We have three children.
Mitch
Mitch, my oldest is 28 years old has graduated with a Major in Japanese and Political Science. He is learning the hazardous waste with my husband. He works for Wells Fargo in
Des Moines, Iowa.
Cameron
Cameron, my middle child is 25. He is a shift manager at Taco Bell on State Street in Rockford. Say hello to him the next time you visit Taco Bell. He is married and has a 6 month old baby. (my grand-daughter - Eliza) Cameron also works with my husband doing clean up of hazardous waste.
Brenna
Brenna, my youngest child is 21 years old. She is working at a company called First Source in Rockford. She loves being an aunt to her niece.
Emily is my daughter-in-law. She works at Fasenal and loves raising her daughter(my granddaughter). She loves spending time with family.
Marie Jernigan is my mother. She lives in Bickford of Rockford House. She loves playing with her great-granddaughter and she loves it when we come and sing to her friends at Bickford House.
Pebbles
Pebbles is a 2 year old miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix. He loves to play and go on walks.
Bo
Bo is a 11 year old Bassador. He loves to sleep inside...He hates rainy days.
